This policy explains how Palm 'n Patterns Interiors & Contracting LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit palmnpatterns.ae or contact us. We are committed to handling your information lawfully and transparently, in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”). Where visitors are located in the European Union, we also aim to act consistently with the GDPR.

What we collect and why

Enquiries you send us. When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you provide. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to discuss a possible project. We do not use it for marketing and do not sell it to anyone.

Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-focused service that sets no cookies and records only aggregate, non-identifying statistics (such as pages viewed, referring site and device type). If you decline, no analytics are loaded and nothing is measured.

Technical data. Like any website, our host receives standard server information (such as your IP address and browser type) as a necessary part of delivering the pages to you and keeping the site secure.

Embedded maps. The contact and studio pages embed a Google Map. When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google as the map provider.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site stores a small amount of information in your browser purely to make it work: your cookie-banner choice (so we do not ask again), and a temporary draft of an enquiry you are typing (so it is not lost on reload). This information stays in your browser and is not sent to us for tracking.

Legal basis for processing

Under the PDPL we rely on your consent for analytics, and on the necessity of processing to take steps at your request and to pursue our legitimate business interest in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the site, under confidentiality obligations, and only as needed:

Netlify — website hosting and delivery.
Resend — sending enquiry emails to our inbox.
Plausible — cookieless analytics, only if you consent.
Google Maps — the embedded location map.

Some of these providers operate servers outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard, as required by the PDPL.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with your request and any resulting project, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, after which it is deleted. Consent-based analytics data is aggregated and not tied to you.

How we protect it

The site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

Your rights

Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy of the data you provided. To exercise any of these rights, email info@palmnpatterns.ae. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you may also contact the UAE Data Office.

Children

The site is intended for adults and business clients. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
